Delete your account and data
Leaving costs nothing, and it is immediate. There is no retention window and no "are you sure you want to lose your progress" — the door opens the same way it closed.
From inside the app
- Open WingIt and sign in, if you aren't already.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion happens straight away, on our servers and on your device.
What is deleted
- Your account — the email address, and the display name if Google sign-in provided one.
- All synced tasks, reminders, and completion state.
- Your postcards and personal journey records.
- Everything WingIt stored on your device.
What remains
Only anonymous shared counters — for example the total distance the flock has flown. They hold no personal information and cannot be traced back to you. The distance you gave the flock stays with the flock; that is the whole point of giving it.
Using WingIt without an account
If you never signed in, nothing of yours ever reached a server. Settings → Delete data on this device wipes the local copy, and uninstalling the app removes it too.
Can't reach the app?
Email hello@wingittodo.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete the account and its data for you.
